Three Moms, Three States, One Common Thread; Children’s Success Became the Ultimate Career Opportunity
Premier Supplemental Education System Proves Happy Clients Are the Best Franchise Sales Tool

Best in Class Education Center (Best in Class), a supplemental education franchise, has proven once again that it sets the standard for success and achievement through happy customers. The brand has seen a trend in having such a strong product in their curriculum, that families whose children attend the program have signed up to back the brand professionally by purchasing a franchise.

“We have seen an uptick in sales through former clients buying into the franchise because of the accomplishments their children have seen in the classroom,” said Hao Lam, Founder and CEO of Best in Class. “We are very honored that our organic success stems from our core values and our mission to provide the highest level of education to guarantee our student’s achievements.”

Franchisees, who first started out as customers, are currently expanding Best in Class into new territories. Owners include, Jenny Tran in Elk Grove, California; Aruna Sheeba Andrew in Austin, Texas; and Priya Venkat in Allen, Texas. These parents saw their children improve dramatically in school after attending Best in Class, and believed in the brand so much they signed on to open their own center.

“What’s really wonderful about these success stories is that not only have parents noticed remarkable improvement in their students, but in the process, have stumbled upon a lucrative career opportunity that’s now providing for their families,” said Sharon Peterson, Director of Franchise Sales for Best in Class. “I’ve spent my career in the franchise industry, and I have never experienced a brand that sells organically as well as Best in Class does; it feels good to be a part of a brand with such strong success stories.”

Prior to attending Best in Class, Andrew’s kids were attending tutorial classes that focused on traditional memorization methods of learning, which did not align with modern methods of critical thinking and analysis. Upon registering her children at Best in Class, their understanding of the curriculum increased and they became more engaged with the subject matter. After relocating to Austin and struggling to find proper supplemental centers for her children, Andrew and her husband decided to franchise with Best in Class for the benefit of their children as well as the rest of the community and next generation of learners. “My children attended tutoring centers where they were able to make attempts, but did not build the confidence they needed to find success in their studies,” Andrew said. “With Best in Class, they were able to get top-of-the-line supplemental work that was customized, and their skyrocketing achievements convinced us we had to bring the name to Austin and share the gift of learning we experienced.”

Parents have also experienced their children’s increased engagement. Venkat found that her kids’ previous education center concentrated on repetitive and outdated curriculum, while Best in Class offered analytical problem solving and an environment that nurtures student growth.

“My children’s academic scores are in the top 5 percent of their class, and I attribute their enrollment into gifted programs as a direct result of Best in Class teachings,” said Venkat. “Their progress enabled them to feel positive when approaching homework assignments and taught them testing strategies.”

Jenny Tran, originally from San Jose, California, enrolled her son and daughter into the Best in Class program, and after three short months, saw a visible improvement in their math and English skills. Tran’s daughter, currently in 6th grade, tested into Algebra 1 and was able to skip a year of math to pursue a higher level of curriculum. Both of her children received the Achievement Award in school, which she believes is an outcome of their course work at Best in Class.

“We want others to experience the kind of success we witnessed in our own children and we’re confident our community will experience the same achievements through Best in Class,” said Tran.

Best in Class’s curriculum is their No. 1 selling product and the reason behind their grass-roots success in cross-country market development.   “Happy parents have become the most passionate franchisees and it’s this passion and trust in what we stand for that will allow us to keep growing nationally and serving more students,” Lam said.

Best in Class is a top-tier educational center that has built a curriculum around strong critical-thought. The program highlights math and English education and coaches students in supplemental and remedial core-education as well as standardized test preparation. Lam has led his team in developing the Best in Class program that emphasizes student mastery and long-term retention. The result is academic success both in and out of the classroom.

Best in Class is currently focusing on growth in California and Texas, in addition to development on the East coast, particularly the tri-state markets of Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. With the addition of Director of Franchise Sales Sharon Peterson, and her accelerated approach to sales, the brand is poised to take the next steps to solidifying its status as a leading education franchise.
