welcome Joseph Altuzarra to present
the Altuzarra Resort & Spring 2017 capsule collection to
benefit the museum in its unique Beaux-Arts ballroom

WHAT: In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Museum, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and Saks Fifth Avenue partner for the first time to welcome CFDA-award-winning designer Joseph Altuzarra as he presents his Resort & Spring 2017 capsule collection for a private, live, full-scale fashion show in support of the museum. Born in Paris to a Chinese-American mother and a French Basque father, Joseph Altuzarra’s background and experience have given him a fresh perspective and refined vision for his New York-based luxury womenswear brand.

Fellow fashionistas gather for this unique evening of art and artistry: cocktails in the museum’s light-filled North Court followed by an exclusive runway event showcasing Altuzarra’s sparkling party dresses, sophisticated prints, must-have tailoring, and other pitch-perfect looks hot off the pages of your favorite magazines. A buffet dinner will be served afterwards.

With its Beaux-Arts colonnades and galleries of priceless artworks from across Asia, the Asian Art Museum is an unforgettable setting in which to preview Altuzarra’s stunning designs. Presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, the event includes a variety of shopping opportunities after the show, including an in-store personal appearance by Joseph Altuzarra and trunk show the following day.

Approximately 300 guests will attend.

Seating ranges from $375.00-$1650.00 for individual tickets.
