Introduction to 3D Computer Animation in Maya
Does computer graphic animation interest you? From television commercials, feature films, FXs, video games, and personal projects, computer animation is everywhere! It is a fascinating art and science that has limitless applications and possibilities.

In this 3 session workshop series, at Homeroom Education, students will work on the software program Maya and create their own 3D computer animation. This these sessions will introduce students to the basics of 3D computer graphic animation. Including topics such as:
•	Animation principles
•	Anthropomorphism (adding personality) techniques and tricks to a simple shape
•	Story-boarding
•	And much more…

During each session students will learn new skills and how to put them into practice. Through focusing on art, animation and technology, students will also be developing their creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Each week, students will be asked to work on their animation at home and then they can look forward to showcasing their work for feedback and get 1:1 guidance from Ron in a fun and collaborative environment. By the end of the final session, each student will have finished their own short 3D animation! These shorts look fantastic on school and scholarship applications!

Please Note: Students will need to bring their own laptop to each workshop session.
