WHAT: Kids Like to Move It Week

Groove it, move it, and improve it during the Kids Like To Move It Week.

Every morning kids can boogie to an array of music with local dance instructors and in the afternoon have fun learning new techniques and sharpening existing skills in a variety of activities with local sports teams.

WHERE: Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, 180 Woz Way, San Jose

WHY: As part of the museum’s strategic commitment Childhood Obesity Prevention, the museum is committed to promoting the benefits of physical activity, healthy food choices, and drinking more water. Kids Like to Move It joins the museum’s ongoing programs Kids Food Festival and the exhibit galleries Kids in Motion, Rainbow Market, and FoodShed, the museum’s renovated café that features fresh, whole, and seasonal foods that are minimally processed.

Cost of admission: adults: $13; children: $13; seniors: $12; infants and members are free. Festivities are included in the price of admission.
