Gina McCarthy is the former administrator for the United States Environmental Protection Agency under President Barack Obama and one of the leading national experts on environmental and public health impacts of climate change.  Her achievements include finalizing and implementing the Clean Power Plan under the Clean Air Act and signing the Paris Climate Agreement.
