Enjoy a belated Japanese Children's day activity-- Carp windsocks are hung in Japan from April through May to celebrate Children's Day and the hope that the family's children will grow up brave. Put together and decorate a carp windsock in honor of Children's Day, then hang it up in front of your house!

Every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm check out what we're building, making, and creating in our Open Studio hours! NUMU's Open Studio offers visitors of all ages a hands-on opportunity to explore, discover and create. Ages 4+, no new entry after 3:30pm. All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
