Shri Krupa (SKDF) has been at the heart of bay area Indian classical dance and cultural  activities. SKDF was founded by an internationally renowned dancer, teacher, and choreographer Guru Vishal Ramani. Over the past 40 years, the foundation has enriched the lives of over 1000 students and 5000 bay area residents by introducing them to
Bharatanatyam - Indian classical dance form dating back 2000 years. A typical student goes on a 6-year journey to perfect the three core elements of Bharatanatyam - rhythmic footwork, storytelling through facial expressions, and body movements - and graduates with a debutant solo on-stage dance performance called an Arangetram.

2018 is an important year as we are celebrating the 250th Arangetram conducted under the tutelage of Guru Vishal Ramani. She is a resident of Morgan Hill and conducts classes across Santa Clara County with state of art studio in Cupertino, CA. She is the first guru and choreographer in USA to have reached this phenomenal achievement.
