In February, Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Bay Area Discovery Museum

Sausalito, CA - The magical traditions of the Lunar New Year will come to life this month at the Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM). In partnership with the Marin Chinese Cultural Association (MCCA), BADM will welcome Lion Dancers, calligraphers, martial arts performers, and more! Summer Will be Here Soon - Register for Discovery Camp
It's never too soon to start thinking about summer, especially a summer spent at BADM's Discovery Camp! From June-August, BADM offers 23 different camp themes, led by dynamic teachers who know how to create projects kids will love. From art to design to outdoor exploration and tool tinkering, there's a Discovery Camp for every child. Registration opens in February!

BADM members at every level receive early registration for camp. Registration opens to the general public at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with BADM and MCCA
Experience the vibrant traditions of the Lunar New Year at BADM! On Monday, February 18, join BADM and MCCA for a day of themed programs and activities, performances, and demonstrations. Watch master calligraphers at work, decorate a personalized paper lantern, enjoy a performance by MCCA's Lion Dance team, and more!

February Drop-In Programs
In BADM's daily drop-in STEM and Art Programs, children get hands-on with novel materials, explore creative problem-solving techniques, and discover new interests. Join us in February to get messy baking up imaginary treats in our Mud Kitchen, try your hand at calligraphy in the Art Studios, and more.
