Opening of the iceless rink

“Meet and Greet” with Ice Royalty


The magic begins on Saturday, December 21 with the opening of the museum’s new iceless skating rink at 11:00 a.m. The royal Ice Queen, Ice Princess and Chillman the Snowman will officially open the rink for amazing sock-skating through January 5.

Cambrian String Quartet will play festive music from 1 – 3 p.m. 

Step into a winter wonderland for all ages. The museum’s inside theater has been transformed into a magical place for creating holiday memories. Visitors are encouraged to flaunt their wackiest socks and slide over to the museum for endless family fun. It’s guaranteed to deliver all the thrills of skating without the chills and spills of ice.

Skating is included in the museum ticket price and the rink is open during regular museum hours. 

Photo opportunity for little ones: The royal Ice Queen, Ice Princess and Chillman the Snowman will be on-site for a “Meet & Greet” after the rink opens until 12:30 p.m.
