José Andrés - Wallace Stegner Lecture

Andrés advocates for sustainability in the restaurant industry and his line of restaurants include many that are focused on serving sustainably grown and harvested foods. His newest book Vegetables Unleashed describes how the home cook can approach preparing vegetables in fresh and surprising ways that help to reduce food waste and reduce our carbon footprint. He will appear in conversation with a local Peninsula food personality to discuss his recent work. This lecture is one hour and ten minutes long with no intermission. It is appropriate for those patrons 12 and over due to subject matter.
