Supreme Court orders CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case

New Delhi/ Mumbai, Aug 19: Supreme Court has ordered CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case on Aug 19. Actor Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition seeking transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case from Patna to Mumbai. Earlier today, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that the government will decide the way forward after Supreme Court pronounce verdict on Rhea's plea.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is surrounded by mystery since he died on June 14, which was alleged to be by suicide by the Mumbai police. Since then many facts have come to light that raises several questions on his alleged suicide, now being termed “murder” by certain media channels.

Now that the CBI has taken over the case, the family feels vindicated and are anxiously awaiting justice, as per the comments of their family counsel, Vikas Singh.

Herd Immunity to the Pandemic expected sooner than later?

According to a report from New York Times today, Herd Immunity to the corona virus pandemic could be arriving sooner than later globally. In addition some pockets such as Mumbai, New York and London may have already become Herd Immune to corona virus pandemic.

The pandemic can end under two circumstances:
One when people are protected through a vaccine and two if they have been infected once and survived and the population at large becomes what is known as herd immune to the virus. Herd immunity doesn’t mean the virus will go away. It just means that the virus will travel slower as the number infected have become substantially larger.

Earlier on experts and scientists estimated that 70 percent should be infected for the population to become herd immune. But more than a dozen scientists have informed the New York Times that they now felt comfortable saying that herd immunity probably lies from 45 percent to 50 percent.”

This could be very positive news coming from experts, says San Jose resident Akash Verma. “Let’s see what happens,” he ends hopefully.
