Culmination of the School Year with an Inaugural Graduating Class
Stratford School Celebrates the Culmination of the School Year with an Inaugural Graduating Class at Stratford Preparatory Blackford, Multiple Award Winners, and a New Fremont Campus Opening in the Fall.

As the 25/26 school year comes to a close, Stratford School is celebrating several landmark achievements and significant milestones. This year marked Stratford’s 27th year as a school, founded in the Bay Area by educator Sherry Adams. It also marked the opening of its second high school campus, Stratford Preparatory Milpitas, and the very first graduating class of seniors from its first high school, Stratford Preparatory Blackford in San Jose.
Stratford Preparatory Blackford’s founding class of seniors showcased the culmination of their hard work and academic excellence with an impressive list of college acceptances to an exceptional range of highly selective institutions, including Princeton University, Cornell University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Cambridge, and Georgia Tech, among many other notable institutions. Students will also attend prestigious University of California campuses, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, and UC Merced.
Additionally, 14% of Prep Blackford’s seniors earned National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist distinctions, placing Stratford Preparatory Blackford among the nation's top college-preparatory programs. It is a noteworthy achievement, as fewer than 1% of students nationally earn this distinction each year.

These impressive results are just the beginning. Stratford School campuses took home over 120 awards at regional science fair competitions across the state, received multiple awards at the Future Cities Engineering competition, took first place as California State Winners in the Presidential AI Challenge, were recognized as the 2025 CLASS Outstanding K-16 Chinese Program Award winners in the fall, and will send a student to the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition for the second year in a row.
In addition, Stratford will open a new campus this coming fall in Fremont, Fremont Washington Boulevard, serving students in Early Preschool through Grade 2. This campus will be the third campus in Fremont and is currently accepting applications.
Stratford School now has over 30 campuses, with 28 in the Bay Area and 3 in Southern California, and serves over 10,000 students in Early Preschool through Grade 12. Its innovative STEAM curriculum builds a strong foundation in STEM and the Arts, and is complemented by social-emotional learning, character development programs, world languages, after-school clubs and sports, and a charitable giving program that enables students to contribute to their community in meaningful ways.
