The Peninsula’s Premier Fitness, Aquatics and Community Center

Open to the entire community, the award-winning PJCC offers a rich combination of a world-class health, fitness, and aquatics center in a warm, family-friendly setting. At the heart of the 50,000 square foot facility is the Byer Athletic Center, a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring three sparkling heated pools: an outside pool, kiddie pool, and Foster City’s only indoor pool. The Center offers an award-winning swim school for children and adults, and over 100 monthly group exercise classes including Bollywood Dance for adults and children, Yoga, and Pilates. Members also enjoy cardio equipment with flat screen TVs and reduced rates on personal training and spa services.

The PJCC provides an integrated approach to help people of all ages experience greater well-being. wellness your way encourages everyone to nourish, move, and engage with free and low-cost programs and events that provide cultural and spiritual fulfillment, contributing positively to health and emotional resilience. Whether it’s a game of Mah Jongg, shopping at the PJCC’s Wednesday morning Farmers’ Market, participating in Thursday Mindful Meditation classes, or meeting with the Center’s nutrition counselor, the PJCC offers the right mix for a balance of body, mind, and spirit.

Family programs are a priority at the PJCC. From family concerts and holiday celebrations to pool parties and social action, these activities provide families with the opportunity to enjoy quality time together while connecting with other families in the community. “We love the PJCC for many reasons,” says Sandeep Goel, a longtime member. “The cheerful staff, excellent fitness classes for all ages, convenient location, not to mention the beautiful pools…the list goes on!
