The title track of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film, Dil Bechara, released online Friday has garnered almost nine million views in eight hours.

The film's director Mukesh Chhabra wrote a heart-warming history behind the song composed by AR Rahman. He further revealed that Sushant wanted home made food from Farah Khan as gift for completing the song in one take.

Choreographer Farah Khan took up the song for Chhabra and Sushant, and she did that free of charge. Farah also shared a note for Sushant who died on June 14 under mysterious circumstances lwaving milllions of fans grieving for this self-made young talent.

Farah Khan wrote, "This song is special!1sttime @itsSSR n I worked 2gether. He nailed the 1shot song perfectly n only reward he wanted was food from my home.in hindsight I shld have fed u a little more, hugged u a lot more.thank u @CastingChhabra 4 including me in ur journey.

Director Mukesh Chabbria shared on his instagram his whole conversation with Farah Khan where she offered to do the song free of charge.

"And just like that, Bollywood's best Choreographer made #DilBechara's title track happen and how. Presenting the magic of Sushant and the magic of the maestro A.R. Rahman to you. Amazing lyrics by ‪Amitabh Bhattacharya‬, absolutely," he further wrote.

Farah has also shared an emotional note as she too shared the song online Friday.

She mentions that this song is particularly close to her because it was the first time that she was choreographing Sushant. They were friends for a long time but never worked together. During the filming of the song she wanted the song to be done as a single shot song, as she knew Sushant would be able to do it perfectly. She remembers that Sushant had once come to a reality dance show where she was judging as a celebrity guest and "that's the only time the celebrity guest danced better than the contestants on that show."

She further notes: "We rehearsed a whole day n then finished shoot in half a day! As a reward for nailing it perfectly all Sushant wanted was food from my house, which I duly got for him. I see the song n all I can see is how alive, how happy he looks in it. Yes this song is very special to me. Thank u @castingchhabra for including me on this journey of yours.

The movie Dil Bechara is scheduled to be released on July 24 on Star/Disney network free of charge for all viewers.
