Abhinaya Dance Company: Timeless Tales

Abhinaya Dance Company of San Jose, the Bay Area’s premier South Indian classical dance company, announces its plans for its Spring Concert: Timeless Tales: stories woven through Bharatanatyam and classical Carnatic compositions. Muthuswami Dikshitar, Tyagaraja and Syama Sastri are venerated as the Trinity of Carnatic music composers of the 18th century. This show primarily celebrates the 250th anniversary of Muthuswami Dikshitar through his compositions, also featuring compositions of Tyagaraja and Syama Sastri.
