Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose is inviting the media to experience the Museum’s newest exhibit, Bubbling Up! on Friday, June 27. Created in collaboration with the Denver Children’s Museum, and under the expert leadership of Rich Turner, Director of Exhibits & Facilities at Children’s Discovery Museum, the reimagined outdoor bubble exhibit invites visitors to experiment with bubbles of all different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Some will be captivated by a chance to embody life-sized bubbles while using a variety of enchanting wands. Others will be entranced by the ability to create, manipulate, and stack their own fog-filled bubbles. Many will be drawn toward the undeniably irresistible, hand-cranked bubble blower that guarantees a whirlwind of fun. Moreover, this isn’t just fun, but a hands-on exploration of science and math concepts like elasticity, surface tension, chemistry, light, and geometry – all brought to life in a journey of experimentation and observation. 

“We are so excited to debut our new and improved bubbles experience for our visitors,” said Turner. “Bubbles of all kinds spark wonder in children and adults alike, and we can’t wait to see all the creative ways families will explore and interact with the bubbles, and each other, in Bubbling Up!”

The exhibit officially opens on Saturday, June 28.
