Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off on Sunday, September 14 at Children’s Discovery Museum with a performance by Dulce Tricolor Venezolano, a traditional Venezuelan dance group, at 12 p.m. Plus, visitors can enjoy the first of three visits from artists Elba Raquel (AKA BO$$), Yuky, Rox, Emoventur, and Itzayana Silva, who are presenting an immersive alebrije experience to support the exhibit of fantastical alebrijes in Plaza de Cesar Chavez throughout September.

From vibrant cultural performances and special art projects like papel picado and alebrije mask making to little Little Lotería and pan dulce tasting, there is something to explore every weekend to celebrate and honor Hispanic heritage.
