Maker Nexus will be holding our New Year's Material Swap meet again this year!  Come and trade your unused materials with your fellow makers.

We will be doing this event for two days this year:

Friday January 23, 11:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday, January 24, 11:00am - 5:00pm

This event is treated as an open house - nonmembers are encouraged to participate.  

How to participate!

• Come to find cool materials for trade or for free.
• Bring materials to trade or give away.
• Members and Non-members are welcome.

Information

• No limits on materials. If you consider something a material for making, then it can come.
• If you would like to post a list of items you want to bring to get people excited and ready for what you have, then that's great. Feel free on our Slack!
• This event is to build community. We will have materials offered from Maker Nexus and other local businesses, and those will be strictly free for whomever would like to take some.
• Nonmembers are encouraged to participate. we will offer tours for anyone who is interested.

 Reminders about rules:

• No Hazardous materials.
• No selling anything - that is not the purpose of this event.
• You may not leave leftover materials that you bring. If you bring something, it needs to leave at the end of the event with someone, and you are responsible for making that happen.
• If you have large items in mind, please check with Maker Nexus staff to be sure we have the space to accommodate them.
