Derek Weidman will show his unique woodturning and sculpting methods in this all-day demo/learning event. Sponsored by Silicon Valley Woodturners and West Bay Woodturners at Maker Nexus.

Weidman's work builds upon traditions of art in wood by combining diverse genres and an idiosyncratic exploration of form and color.  His approach involves multi-axis turning as the foundation of his work.

The charge for this event is $30 for club members, $40 for non-members, and members of Maker Nexus receive the member price.  Ticket includes lunch.  RSVP here.
