The 50 MHz and Up Group is a non-profit educational and public benefit amateur radio organization. We make and operate radios on frequencies from 50 MHz up through light-waves.

Our monthly meetings (first Tuesdays) are open to all and include technical/educational presentations, project show and tells and round table discussions. Areas of interest include: radio and antenna design/construction/operation, electronics, machining/3D printing/woodworking, mountaintop, mobile and portable operation.

Members have bounced signals off of the moon and set microwave communications distance records. We maintain a groups.io mail list, several public beacon transmitters, a 10 GHz repeater and support emergency communications digital links.
