Shiva-Vishnu Temple celebrates the start of the New Year on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. The dawn of the New Year is referred to as Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Cheti Chand in different parts of India. On this day, Utsava Murthis of all deities are worshiped concurrently (Aasthaanam), and for the benefit of the devotees, Panchanga Sravanam (outlining the days in the ensuing year) is performed.
