Paws to Read, the popular children's reading program is back for Summer 2021! Children entering 1st through 6th grade can read in 20-minute sessions, one-on-one with one of Valley Humane Society's certified Canine Comfort teams. Paws to Read helps children develop confidence in reading aloud in a non-judgmental environment. Paws to Read is not a program to help children overcome a fear of dogs. Participating children must not be afraid of dogs nor have allergies to dogs.

Summer Paws to Read sessions will be held virtually over Zoom. Zoom links will be emailed to participants the morning of the program.

Registration is required for all Spring 2020 Paws to Read participants. Registration opens June 8, 2021 at 12pm.
