What is LEAD?

LEAD is Sewa International's youth engagement program, engaging High School students to serve the community and experience the joy of giving with compassion and Empathy to create a positive impact. It introduces socially conscious leadership to young enthusiastic volunteers. The program is an excellent opportunity for High School students to earn community hours, meet socially aware leaders, develop teamwork and organizational skills and achieve Sewa recognition and gain eligibility for the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).

As a part of the LEAD cohort, students will have an option to enroll for the Design to Lead (DTL) program led by Stanford Professor- Dr. Anurag Mairal that helps them understand and look for ways to address the needs of underserved communities in the Bay Area.

As we start our 2024-2025 year, registrations are open and limited spots available.
